This is the ghost story that really made me aware of the backgrounds that appear in the light opening that I make for an earthbound spirit’s passage.  This story made me realize that often a background appeared in the light that meant something to the earthbound spirit- something they identified with as sacred or divine or perhaps a familiar favorite place or a time in their life of great joy.   I call this ghost story Snow Globe.        Bobbi’s boyfriend, Craig, was a longtime friend of my self and my family.  Craig was not only a friend but, a trusted and respected medical practitioner.  I stopped by his office one afternoon.  He was particularly glad to see me.  Craig said he was doing well but, his girlfriend, Bobbi, was really on edge lately.  “ Not only has she been nervous and jumpy - not herself  but, this morning she called me rather shook up and said last night while sitting in bed alone she felt something touch her arm.” “She said she felt very strange for awhile after this happened.”      I agreed to call Bobbi later that day when she got home from work.      When I called Bobbi, she nervously reiterated the story that Craig has told me earlier that day- of how something touched her last night and things just don’t feel right in her home.  Bobbi said it has just been in the past couple of weeks that she has felt things not quite right.      As I talked with Bobbi, I felt she had a male spirit in her home and that she “picked him up” at a medical facility.  She said with her new job, she went to many nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities.      We made plans for me to come over and clear Bobbi’s home of the earthbound spirit.      The male spirit in Bobbi’s home had a full beard and was in his late 30’s to early 40’s.  He was tall and thin.  It seemed like something was wrong with his legs.  I told Bobbi “I think his name is Abraham.  He found you attractive and he followed you home. I think he died a couple years ago and was hanging out in one of the nursing homes.”      Bobbi and I walked through her house, protecting the appropriate doorways and openings from earthbound spirits.  Before protecting the last door of the house, I made the light- giving the earthbound spirit a chance to go into the light. Abraham went up to the light when I made it.  He hesitated at the threshold.  As I continued to make the light, an incredibly clear background formed in the light that I was making.  I saw lots of snow covered mountain peaks.  It was snowing. The snow was very pure and white.  I was stunned by this beautiful scene.  As he hesitated, I looked on with amazement.       Abraham looked back at Bobbi a couple of times and then he went into the light.  I closed up the light and protected the last door to Bobbi’s home.      Bobbi and Craig felt relieved and thankful now that Bobbi’s home no longer had an earthbound spirit in it.  They were also very glad that the spirit crossed over.        I was fascinated by the image in the background of the light.  As I thought about this, I realized I was seeing something very significant for the earthbound spirit, here, as they entered their next level of existence- something key to their idea of the after earth life.
